So I almost didn't post today, but I guess I should. This morning when I weighed myself I lost a whopping ZERO pounds. Yippee... I'm thinking I won't have the onions as my vegetable again. Also I won't be eating any 'ground chicken' since I bought my grinder yesterday and today I will be grinding chicken breast so that meal should be okay next time. I will also try to go to bed earlier. It was hard though because my husband has been working nights so I would just go to bed shortly after he left for work. But last night he wasn't working, so I ended up staying up with him because we haven't really spent much time together, but he slept most of the day, so he was still up for awhile even after I realized it was midnight and went to bed.
I figured that since I didn't eat my second fruit serving I would be okay, but I also didn't drink much yesterday. We went out a bunch of times and I always forgot my travel cup at home. We went to the Giant Tiger 50th Anniversary barbecue with my family and they had hot dogs and pop and I figured I would just have a water, but they didn't have any - only pop. So I think the combination of the extra calories of the onions, the dark meat I assume was in the ground chicken, the lack of water and the lack of sleep resulted in my lack of a loss today. But I didn't gain!
I'm going to try to make as many dishes for next week as I can today so that I don't spend so much time focusing on food next week. I'm starting classes next week again so I need to focus on my classes, not my food. Last weekend I separated and weighed all the meat out, but today I will cook most of it too.
EDIT:
So I think I still didn't drink enough water today so I'm going to try to drink a bunch before bed. I didn't eat either of my fruit serving today but the vegetable I ate with supper was tomatoes (which are technically fruit) so I think I'm good.
I bought my meat for the week yesterday and today I cut it all up and ground what I needed so that next time I make a chicken burger it won't be just ground chicken, but actually ground chicken breast.
Also I wasn't as hungry today as I have been. I was still a bit hungry in the morning, but drinking some tea took care of that, and I wasn't hungry at all from after lunch until now. My chicken and cabbage stir fry for lunch wasn't very good, but my meatloaf for supper was excellent!
I figured since I gave my measurements last Sunday I would do so again today, so here you go:
Right thigh: 26 1/2 inches (-1/4)
Left thigh: 26 1/2 inches (-1/2)
Right arm: 14 1/2 inches (-3/4)
Left arm: 14 3/8 inches (-3/4)
Waist: 42 5/8 inches (-3/8)
Hips: 43 1/2 inches (-1)
Total: -3 5/8 inches not too shabby
