P3 Day 5
So I stepped on the Wii balance board this morning and the Wii Fit said I had gained 0.2lbs! I thought, "are you kidding me?!" then I remembered that it didn't save my weight from yesterday and I actually lost 1.1 lbs because I am now 150.1lbs with a BMI of 28.35 (overweight) which is still above my LDW but within 2 lbs, but is still 1.3lbs over so we'll see how things go today. Kindergarten graduation is today with a BBQ and potluck, so maybe I'll just have 2 apples and 2 oz of cheese for lunch today and see if that helps me maintain today with what I'm sure will be a big supper.

P3 Day 4
So ya, I'm up again, which is a huge bummer because at this point I am ABOVE 150, which is definitely not where I want to be. Okay, I don't remember how much it said I weighed this morning exactly, and I apparently was so disgusted that I gained that I shut off the Wii before it could save, I'm pretty sure it said I was up 1.3lbs which would make me 151.2lbs with a BMI around 28.5 or 28.6 which is overweight. I finished my cream cheese/egg pancakes this morning and then found out about this apple and cheese day that I thought I would try, even though I had already eaten. So for lunch I had 2 apples and 2 oz of cheese, same for supper, we'll see how that goes. For the real day, you're supposed to have that for breakfast, lunch and supper, but I'm still hoping for a loss back closer to 148.8 lbs which is my last dose weight (LDW).
Anyway better get back to my paper that was due at 1:55pm.....

P3 Day 3
So I had a great birthday and made myself a starch free sugar free cake that was really ggod, but my husband cut me way too big a piece and I was stuffed from it for several hours. So today I have apparently gained 3.5 lbs in the last two days, but I'm not going to do a steak day, I just won't eat a ginormous piece of cake. Plus I'm walking to the park with my son's kindergarten class today so that should help I think. I haven't actually been doing any exercise yet and I'm pretty sure you're supposed to in P3. I was going to ride my bike yesterday for the first time this year, but it turns out it has no breaks, so I need new break lines and then I can ride it.
I was thinking I would get all caught up on my homework this week, but I am busy every single morning this week! This morning is the walk to Henderson, Tue, Wed and Thu I am scribing/reading for PAT's and Friday is the last day of kindergarten and we are all welcome to be there. If I don't go to kindergarten on Fri, I will be scribing/reading for PAT's that day too.
Anyway I am up to 149.9lbs with a BMI of 28.30 (overweight). I'm hoping I'll lose a little today and stay under 150, we'll see how that goes.

P3 Day 1
I'm sorry I haven't been on in a few days. I didn't manage to weigh myself until like 1:30pm on the 9th and I had gained 0.2lbs bringing me up to 148.8 with a BMI of 28.10 (overweight), and I didn't weigh myself yesterday (just too busy with cakes!), but today I did and I was down 2.4lbs to bring me to 146.4lbs with a BMI of 27.64 (overweight).
I made a Dora cake that was supposed to be standing but tipped over so ended up laying down for my neighbours daughter for her 2nd birthday, and my neighbour found out it is my birthday tomorrow and made me a cake. But I couldn't even eat it, I felt bad, but I really don't want to mess this up!
I had cheese today! Yum, I missed cheese so much. Not a lot of cheese, but it was nice none the less. At the BBQ for the 2 yr old's birthday there were bowls of cheesies and different kinds of chips and they made me a fruit and veggie platter instead so I could have something besides a beef pattie with cheese on top. I felt kind of bad not eating the cake and then having them go out of their way to accommodate me, oh well.
I am hoping to find time to make myself a cake that I actually can eat tonight for tomorrow. I need to clean my mixing bowl first though. I've cleaned up almost everything from making cakes, but I'm not quite done yet.
I'll see if I can add pictures later.

VLCD Day 37
I'm not sure if the drops will last past today, so it looks like I'll do tomorrow and Friday as my last two VLCD days without drops and start P3 on Saturday. That's fine actually because we're going to a BBQ on Saturday and it will be nice to have a variety of veggies at the same time and not have to watch my portions quite as closely (ie. weighing them).
Yesterday I was so busy making cakes that I didn't really have a chance to eat. I ate an apple at like 2pm, then had 100g of Halibut at supper and a cucumber in the evening. I don't think I even drank 500ml of water. So I did not do a great job yesterday and probably put my body into starvation mode... oops. I ended up losing 2 lbs, so I am now 148.6lbs with a BMI of 28.05 (overweight). But I don't think that will stay off if I eat properly today. Anyway, I need to have a shower and get my boys ready and make more cakes today (which sucks by the way when your house is filled with the smell of freshly baked cake and you can't even sample the trimmings).

VLCD Day 36
Um, ya, so I'm up again. But like I said I can't really be bothered about it right now, I'm too busy. I'm making a 3d bear cake and a 3d raccoon cake for kindergarten graduation (those are the two classes class mascots), I'm making a 3d frog cake for preschool graduation (their mascot is a frog), I'm making my own birthday cake which is just two round tiers with a mini 3d panda on top, and I just got convinced to make a 3d Dora cake for my neighbour's little girl who will be 2 on Friday. Oh ya, I also have lots of homework, papers and readings for school as well which is done two weeks from today and next week I am writing and scribing for Provincial Achievement Tests. So I am too busy to worry about gaining right now, I guess my LDW will just be higher than I intended.
I am up 0.5lbs to 150.6lbs with a BMI of 28.43 (overweight). I also barely had any veggies yesterday and I think I might have only had 3 water bottles of water (6 glasses) so I was short on water and I was high on stress. I'm hoping to lose tomorrow, but I can't be bothered to stress if I don't.

VLCD Day 35
Day 2 with the new drops and a gain... I do not understand, but I'll keep on keeping on until two days after the drops are gone. So I gained 0.9 lbs and I am at 150.1 lbs with BMI of 28.35 (overweight). But it also says my 6 yr old who is naked gained 1.8lbs since yesterday when he was wearing underwear, which I don't think is possible. So I'll just kind of ignore it and hope it shows a loss tomorrow. I really can't be bothered with stupid gains when I'm nearly done and I'm relying on a silly game board to tell me my weight. I think that next time I will actually buy a digital scale.
At least I'm hovering around 150, which is still a 17lb total loss (over 37 days including loading) and is still much healthier than I was before and I can fit into a bunch of my clothes again, which is nice. Plus my husband kept calling me his 'skinny wife' which is hilarious since I'm still overweight. He says he can't grab my 'back boobs' anymore because they're gone (they're not, but they are much smaller). I feel better than I did and that is important too.

VLCD Day 34
So, day one of different drops, normal protocol, with the exception of no grissini and adding about 2 Tbsp chocolate delight and 3 half peices of macadamia nuts. Guess what, I'm down 2.4 lbs, so 149.3lbs with a BMI of 28.18 (overweight)! I broke into the 140's and have 4.3 lbs to get to my goal. I know I'm only taking the drops for 5 more days (including today), but if I manage to lose around 0.9lbs a day for those next 5 days, I will actually make it to my goal by my birthday! What a great birthday present!
In case you're wondering about the actual food I ate, I had an apple before lunch, I had a shrimp/asparagus stirfry for lunch with Old Bay spice, salt, pepper and garlic powder, I had a little bit of orange while I was helping my son peel his orange in the afternoon and for supper I had meatsauce (while my family had pasta and meatsauce that I made seperatly so I could portion mine easier) with 100g extra lean gr beef, onion flakes, a clove of garlic, a chopped roma tomato, basil, thyme, oregano, around 2 Tbsp tomato paste, salt and pepper and I munched on a few cherry tomatoes at and after supper. Nothing unusual. I was actually going to have chicken for lunch, but because I had been doing a bunch of steak and cake days it had just been sitting in the fridge and had gone bad. I had to throw away 100g of stirfry chicken and a 100g chicken breast. I won't do a steak day again because I like veggies and I don't want anymore food going bad!

It's Sunday again and I finally bought a real measuring tape (this afternoon)! I went to Walmart and had to buy a sewing kit to get one, but I have one now so I can give you my actual measurements:
Right Thigh: 25 1/4 inches (1 1/2 inch loss)
Left Thigh: 25 1/4 inches (1 3/4 inch loss)
Right Arm: 12 1/8 inches (3 1/4 inch loss)
Left Arm: 12 1/2inches (2 5/8 inch loss)
Waist: 37 3/4 inches (5 1/4 inch loss)

VLCD Day 33
Great, I gained 0.2 lbs on a steak and cake day, so now I am 151.7lbs with a BMI of 28.64 (overweight). I also used up the last of my drops yesterday. However I was at my friend's house and her husband is done so they have some extra drops that should last me until the 9th. Maybe my drops got too hot and stopped working and maybe these ones are still working, so hopefully I will start losing again...
I think maybe next time I'll just do the 23 days, because it seems like I only lost for about 20 days so it almost seems like a waste to go longer than that. That means that next time it will only take a little more than 6 weeks to get to P4, so I might do it sooner than September, we'll see.

VLCD Day 32
I am definitely running out of drops and there is no way I will make it to June 9 (so that the 10th and 11th would be VLCD without drops and the 12, my birthday, would be my first day of P3). I stayed the same today, so I'm still at 151.5lbs with a BMI of 28.60 (overweight), which is better than a gain, but I am for sure not getting to my goal of 145lbs. I still have the chance to get down to 150 though, so I'm going to do another steak and cake day and see if I can get down to 150. I am going to try to make the cake differently or mix the ingredients better or something, because I didn't love the cake, but it seemed like it could have been good if I had mixed it better or something.
I'm kind of bummed that all I have lost in the last 11 days is 3lbs, but it is still an average loss of 0.28 lbs a day, and I have still lost overall right? Overall things have turned out okay. I'm wondering if the problem is with my hCG, because it stayed in the car the whole time we were camping over the long weekend, which was pretty warm. For my next round (which won't be until September) I will make sure to keep it in the fridge or a cooler the whole time to make sure that it doesn't get too warm.
I'll keep going until I'm out of drops, then do the VLCD for 2 days after that then move on to P3. I have been trying to find lots of good recipes and info about P3, but it's so much less strict that it's almost easier to find a list of not allowed foods than a list of allowed foods, which makes me a little nervous because I think it will be harder to stick to since you might unintentionally eat something you shouldn't. I guess I'll start by eating a little more of the allowed P2 foods (with the exception of grissini or melba toast because they have starch) and mixing my vegetables. People keep saying to double your protein, but the Canad food guide says that a female adult should have 2 servings of protein a day where a serving is 75g, so that means that really I should be eating less protein doesn't it? I don't think I'll increase my protein, but I will increase my vegetables and add oil and different proteins that I'm not allowed now (like pork).
Anyway, we'll see what happens.

VLCD Day 31
So I am down again, but my graph of my weight looks like a zigzag still. I am down 1.8lbs to 151.5 with a BMI of 28.60 (overweight). I am also running out of drops and I don't know if I will make it until the 9th, but I guess we'll see. I'm kind of assuming I will not be achieving my goal of 145 lbs, which sucks, but I guess what I have lost is better than nothing. I have been wearing stretchy pants (think yoga pants) for nearly a year because none of my pants fit anymore and I actually put on a pair of jeans yesterday and that was an awesome feeling.
I am just going to follow protocol again today, with the exception of adding some chocolate delight. It can't hurt because I've normally been gaining around two pounds after a loss of around 2 pounds anyway, so the most it will do is make me actually gain 2 pounds instead of nearly 2 pounds, but hopefully it will help me lose...

VLCD Day 30
Okay, now I am angry... Apparently I'm up 1.5 lbs again today and I stuck to protocol exactly yesterday, I didn't eat until lunch, I drank all my water, I didn't have coconut oil, I had a full 8 hours of sleep, I also had like 3 BM's yesterday, which I hadn't had for 2 days. I don't understand why I didn't lose. I checked my ketones and they are at 15, so lower than yesterday, but still there, so I should have lost!
Grrr, my weight is now 153.2 with a BMI of 28.93 (overweight). I guess I'll do another steak and cake day (and actually have the cake this time, if I can find my kitchen scale that seems to have disappeared...) I don't know what else to do.
