Finally! I tried to post an hour ago and my internet had not connectivity for some reason. Anyway this morning I am down 4.2 lbs! So I am 165.2 and my BMI is 31.22 (obese). I thought I was about 165 before I started, so this isn't a huge milestone or anything, but I'm down which is good.
I took 6 drops when I got up and I have just been sipping tea this morning and doing well. My son actually caught the bus this morning! We were out there at 6:50 and the bus came about 2 min later. He wants to move us up the road, but I think he's mistaken about his map because he said to go up a block by Algonquin, but we were by Algonquin... up a block is Red Crow. Whatever, we'll do what he wants.
Just have to get the 4 yr old's snack packed for pre-Kindergarten and we can get out the door and on with the morning. I will update you later.
EDIT:
So the snack I had scheduled for this morning was some strawberries. I figured that while I was taking out strawberries and washing them (they last longer if you don't wash them until you're about to eat them) I would make the strawberry vinaigrette that I need for later this week. The container I had for the vinaigrette didn't hold all of it so I figured I would use what was left with my strawberries and some spinach since I'm having some spinach for lunch (and I don't want to mix veggies!) and oh my goodness it was soooooo yummy! It was like having dessert for a mid morning snack!
I know some people use 'updated' versions of the protocol, or use Kevin Trudeau's version or somebody else's but there are so many options even if you only follow the original protocol by Dr. Simeons in Pounds and Inches that I figure, why mess with a good thing? My super yummy salad falls right within the original protocol and like I said, super yummy! And according to the My Fitness Pal app it was only 28 calories :)
Oh, I almost forgot, I had a headache again today, so I took an Aleve before I ate my salad and it's starting to let up. Hopefully my headaches go away soon.
EDIT:
Today I was a bit hungrier, but I managed. My kids made an Easter house thing, like a gingerbread house, but vanilla instead of gingerbread and Easter candies instead of Christmas candies, and there were some bunny and chick shaped jujubes and I would have liked an orange one...
It's hard when you smell something or see something and you would normally just grab it, but you can't. My 2 yr old opened a cheese string this morning but then didn't finish it. Normally I would have just eaten it, but instead I wrapped it in plastic wrap and stuck it in the fridge. I like cheese. Thankfully I had some cottage cheese with my halibut for supper. I don't think I've ever had halibut before but it was super yummy! It actually didn't even need the sauce that I made for it with the cottage cheese. It was seriously tasty. Too bad it's fairly expensive. I'll have to see if I can find it somewhere cheap and have it more often because it is delicious!
